Path is normally a starry path – this time there’s a tunnel and everything streaks across the horizon. Cynthia, Bella, and Gill find themselves on a spaceship. Various aliens are there, a lot is going on. 3D holotank on bridge, multiple vessels. In combat, bridge has damage. Security team reacts (grabs guns). Cynthia surrenders, along with compatriots. Bella does not look worried. Guards then get thrown to the ground with explosion. Everyone is panicking. Bella disarms the remaining security guard. Cynthia and Gill are helping bandage crewmates. Bella and captain talk. Bella casts spell, everything shifts location. Bella casts another spell, all enemy vessels are destroyed. Captain Shill introduces herself and thanks Bella.

Bella says that Cynthia is in charge. “Admiral Cynthia.” Federation of different species, another species has invaded and wiped everything out. Fleet was supposed to hold the line and failed, so they ran to let command know. Bella starts more spells to welcome the other ships.

Aiden – with Keith and Lana. Everything is spinning. Lana is disgusted at losing the bet. Lana says she needs to check with a friend. “You can meet them in the Violet room. The message has been delivered to your friend.” Lana offers her arm to Keith and they head to the Violet room. Interesting sculptures and paintings; Aiden sits down. Group enters – Xander, Kelli, and servants.

Xander had departed the throne room with Kelli, Keith and Aiden are already there. Xander is happy to see them, does a forward flip. “We won a bet.” “What did you win?” “Friends.”

Xander asks Kelli that the King serve them the “very best.” “Put it on Queen Floralind’s tab.”

Kelli says to deliver one case of Project X.

Xander asks that Kelli throws up a ward to prevent eavesdropping. Kelli tosses a metal sphere, and it causes a barrier. Servants are dismissed.

She is the forgesmith of the Courts of Chaos – she makes all the weapons and armor. She has a Logrus whip that rips through a suit of armor. “I want to create an ultimate weapon. Maybe you need an item of Power?”

“I do.”

“What is the purpose of this item?”

“It’s an oboe. If the body of the horn is made of the horn of the Unicorn, then…”

“We have company.”

“The melody that could be played and it could rebalance the universe.”

“And how might I be of service?”

“I don’t know. I need something to sever the horn of the Unicorn, and something to restrain the Unicorn.”

“I may need to plan a few things. I have ideas, but I’ll need time.”

“I have things to do.”

“I’ll start to work on this.” Door opens. Box is there, female is there. “Rose, Aiden. Aiden, Rose.”

Xander says, “Keith, this is yours, and it is the first of many gifts. I want to find an instrument.”

“We need a carriage.” Kelli gets a carriage for the group. Lana, Keith, Aiden, Rose, and Xander head into the carriage. Xander sends a bird of desire and start shifting through shadows. Carriage takes off, Aiden is at the top of the carriage taking watch.

Janus meets Floralind. Sends message. “They are springing a trap on you. At Castle Amber.”

Cynthia. Ships are coming in, Cynthia thinks about running. New vessel - Cthulthu heads. “Unusual power sources, weird projector”. Captain is worried, asks how long the wormhole will take. “A while.” Ships get within weapon range, do not fire, then tendrils start sending out weird beam. There are Cthulthu-type aliens on the bridge. Cynthia glares at alien. Feel something icky and unexpected – this is part of a collective. Cynthia pushes forward. Cynthia is winning the psychic battle, but invaders are still on the bridge. Cynthia stabs one of the Cthulthu soldiers. More are popping in. Something snaps in Cynthia. Tendrils of Cynthia’s own start shooting out and taking out the aliens. Cynthia is not able to control this and focuses on the psychic connection with the Cthulthu.

Cynthia manages to kill Cthulthu. Bella says, “Logrus.”

“How good is your control on that?”

“I didn’t know it existed.”

“You need to work on that.”

Xander is getting a Trump call. Floralind. “I have need of Aiden and possibly Keith.” Xander is taking short cuts, Aiden is providing security. Winged spider things, webbed over the route. Aiden is dealing with them as they come. Keith, Lana, Xander are also in the fight.

In Shadow – bird is there. Xander keeps the carriage and the driver, Keith, Keith’s alcohol, Aiden, Lana, Rose all go to the entry hall in Amber. Xander calls Mungo. “Mungo, do you know sorcery?”

“No. Say, ‘Rats, Mungo accepts your deal.’”

“I don’t need one that bad.” Mungo goes through the Trump to join Xander.

Janus talks with Karen.

Cynthia is taught at Starfleet by the best of everyone. Cynthia is the hero of the universe. Focusing on medical side of things. Talks to Bella about tendrils. Bella says, “You need to find someone to train you, but we’re not going to find anyone here. All in good time.” Cynthia is maximizing her activity and practicing Logrus in her spare time. Highway – time to move on.

Aiden. Go to Amber, go to private quarters. Sapphire is there. Aiden wants to challenge Sapphire to an arm-wrestling contest. Lana and Keith head to gardens. Janus and Aiden are

Cynthia – in blacks and purple, shawl and hood. Lots of snow and cold. Two figured appear from snowstorm. Jacob and H’Rick. Cynthia is going to be diplomatic about things. Jacob asks Cynthia to be their guest to Amber.

“What is the guarantee that this will be a welcome welcome?”

“Eric won’t be there.”

“And if I were to politely decline?”

Bella pushes a button on the back of belt. “Tendril tutor.”

“Yes.”

Jacob says, “The problem with declining an invitation from the queen is it is very very rude.”

“Priority 1”

“The Mungo clause?”

“The Mungo clause.”

“But we’re suppose to…”

“I know. I need to know, are you accepting the queen’s invitation?”

Cynthia turns to Bella. “So you’d have me run forever?”

“Tentacle tutor.”

Cynthia politely declines. Bella caused the Priority 1.

Xander and Mungo are going to explore the Shadow. Xander says we may not need the Horn of the Unicorn, the Phoenix Feather may be enough. Mungo is shapeshifting around the feather, and Xander is playing Mungo. This is producing some results. Getting some power. Xander is playing the melody with that power. First note goes well. Second note, instrument makes a squealing song. Mungo is back in normal form, but skin is oozing and cracked. Feather has a hairline crack in it.

Xander says that he has exhausted alternatives at this point.

“If you succeed in turning into the Unicorn, your Psyche may not be good enough and you may be hostile.”
